The Legend´s End: Day 41

Today I coded a big part of the second phase. A huge energy ball is appearing at random locations and hurts the player. Because the model don´t looks very nice I will change it soon.

Colors of Danger

While the weekend I had an idea for a very small and simple shooter. I don´t know exactly why I started such a project because I don´t like 08/15 games. The game should take place in a skyscraper in which are terrorists or something. As you can see the game seem to be something very special. After working 3 days on that I decided to cancel it because I had no fun while making it. This of course is better for The Legend´s End because I had a little pause of it and I can concentrate now fully on it. Tomorrow I´ll continue developing TLE. But I wanted your opinion on my project so I´ll share a few screens with you.

The Legend´s End: Day 38

This post will be the last one for a few days. I tried to make some bigger progress today, so I modelled a “ring-shaped light”, which is very important for the next boss fight phase. I didn’t use any special UVs, and the material was taken from UDK.
At last I added some Kismet code for the “ring”.

The Legend´s End: Day 37

Today I finished my work at the first phase of the boss fight. To beat this phase, you have to strike at an energy sphere, spawning on the ground.
For this, I used Kismet most of the time and also made an transition to the next phase.
The particle effect is nothing special, used from UDK.
